Web Site Creation
"How To Create a Web site? Here is a Step By Step Guide For Web Site
Creation."
Have you ever wondered how to set-up your own web site? It's not that hard to do. Here are the
steps...
First, get a domain name. That's the name for your web site, such as www.thewaterfuelreview.com You can get a domain name from many
places. A well known place to get a web site is www.GoDaddy.com
Just visit that site and type in the name of the web site you would like. If it is already taken try another
name until you find the one you want.
After you get a domain name, the next thing to do is get a place to host your site. A good
place is www.HostGator.com They have packages that let you host
one or many sites. If you're going to host more than one site then sign-up for one of their hosting packages
that permits unlimited site hosting. That will cost about $15 per month. Not Bad.
The next step is to tie your domain name to your hosting service. You do that by changing the
nameserver data at your domain registrar... such as at Go Daddy.com if you used them to get your domain name.
Go into your account, look up your domain name, and find the tab that says "nameservers". Update the two data
lines so they point to your hosting service... such as ns02.hostgator.com and ns03.hostgator.com. When you
sign up for your hosting account you will get that nameserver information with your account.
You're most of the way there! The last step is to create a web page or site and upload it to
your hosting service. A great software package for creating web sites is called XSitePro. We created this site using it. It is much easier to create and update your own web
site than to pay someone else to do that.

Google Sitemap Creation
When you create a web site you want people to be able to find it. Google is the most used search
engine. To get your site noticed by Google you want to create a sitemap and then load that sitemap to Google.
Here's a great and free tool to create your sitemap...

Once you have created your sitemap then go to Google Webmaster Tools and enter the data for your site and sitemap. Getting your site
noticed by Google helps get you web traffic. Traffic = money, if you are selling any product or service.
To see the pages of your site that Google has indexed, simply type this command into Google:
site:www.harrison-palmore.com Of course, put your web site name in there in
place of ours. Google will then show you each page of your site that they have indexed. It's that simple!
